Deep blue from the shoulder down, with a line of rhinestones cutting across the high waist to catch the light. The waistband sits high and marks the narrowest point, so the skirt falls long and uninterrupted from there to the floor. Sleeves are cut regular rather than fitted, which keeps the whole thing composed instead of tight, and a zip closes it cleanly. The blue is deep enough to read almost black until the rhinestones catch. This is the one you reach for when the room has a dress code and a photographer in it.
